View Lists Created from List Defintion

Display all Lists created using a specific List Definition, including those created from Marketing Automation campaigns.

To Access Child Lists

  1. Go to LISTS > VIEW LIST DEFINITIONS to view the List Definitions page. 
  2. Click View Lists next to the List Definition.

The Lists Using page will display all Lists that were created using the List Definition. This includes Lists created for each Deploy Email action in every Marketing Automation campaign.  Marketing Automation Lists will appear named in the following format:

Automation_[automation campaign name]_[deploy email tracking name]_[mmddyyyy][timestamp]

For instance, if your Automation Campaign is named "Welcome Series", the first Deploy Email is named "initial", and the action is created on May 5, 2015, the List may be named:

Automation_Welcome Series_initial_050520151234

The Lists Using page displays the Name, Created Date and Modified Date for each List created from the List Definition. You may sort the data in any of the columns by clicking the column header. The details displayed for each list include:


ID List ID number


Click the name of the List to access its properties.


Date the List was created.


Date the List was last updated.


Click the checkbox to select the List, then click Sync Lists to update the List properties based on the current properties of the List Definition.
