Title, Summary, and Source

Question

What are the Title, Summary, and Source labels used for in the Social Media links?

Answer

In the 'Social Media Links' section of the Template Tags tool, there are options to enter a Title, Summary, and Source for the posted message. A Title is required for Digg, LinkedIn and MySpace.  By default, the Title displays the Subject line of the message.  However, if you reuse the template and have a dynamic subject line, you will be required to regenerate the Social Media link and update the template for each change.  To avoid this, you may instead use a more generic title when you generate the Social Media link the first time. The Summary and Source details are both required to post to LinkedIn, but are not used for other the sites.  These can be simple one or two word reminders of the content of the message and from where the message was generated.
