Create unique redirect URLs to track click-throughs on your site or in your email content.

The PowerURL™ feature provides more flexible tracking by allowing you to track a single URL as if it were several different URLs.  This is helpful if you have a URL in multiple places in your email message.  If you use the same URL in every location, the tracking data will be lumped together.  However, by using PowerURL™, you can track the clicks for the URL in each location as if they were separate, distinct URLs.

PowerURLs™ are not limited to use within email campaigns only but can also be used in your web pages to track clicks on your site.  Place the URL into your HTML code and then check the stats in the PowerURL™ page.

The flexibility of PowerURLs™ allows you to:

  • Encode any type and length URL
  • Assign group codes
  • Assign any number of specialized replacement tags
  • Automatically insert sequential codes
  • Measure results in real-time
  • Enable, disable, or change URLs at any time

Accessing PowerURLs™

PowerURLs™ are defined in the Event Tracking section of the Reports menu along with other Tracking related features.  To access PowerURLs™, go to REPORTS > EVENT TRACKING > POWERURLS. This will open the PowerURLs page.  From here you can choose to:

  • Add a new PowerURL™
  • Edit an existing PowerURL™
  • Copy an existing PowerURL™
  • Delete a PowerURL™
  • View Statistics for a PowerURL™

The PowerURLs page displays a list of the URLs defined in the realm, and includes the following details for each:

The name of the unique PowerURL.

Name of the group of PowerURLs that point to the same URL.

Displays a check icon if the PowerURL is enabled for use.

URL of page to display when the PowerURL is clicked.

Click to verify the URL PowerURL redirects and displays as expected.  This will generate a tracking event in the PowerURL Statistics.

Click to view a bar chart of the number of times the PowerURL was clicked.

Click COPY to make an exact copy of the PowerURL with a new Code.  Click DELETE to delete the specific PowerURL code. This will not delete other PowerURLs in the Group.

You may sort the data in any of the columns by clicking the column header.
