The Archive feature allows you to hide items that are no longer relevant but which you may need to retain for future reference. The ability to Archive items is especially helpful when it becomes difficult to find an item in a listbox because of the number of active items. Archiving unneeded items also improves the loading speed of pages in which you can select an item.
Archiving an Automation Campaign marks it as hidden, preventing future use in the platform. Archived Campaigns are not available to select in features such as Deploy Campaign and Import, therefore you cannot add contacts to an archived Automation Campaign. However, you can still access the archived Campaigns to delete or restore.
To Archive an Automation Campaign
- Go to MARKETING AUTOMATION > AUTOMATION CAMPAIGNS.
- Set the Sending status to Inactive. You will not have the option to Archive if the Sending status is set to Active.
- In the Actions column, click ARCHIVE next to the Campaign to hide. The Archive Automation Campaign popup will display.
- Click YES to hide the Campaign. Click NO to return to the Campaign Library without archiving.
To Change the Archive View
To see the archived Automation Campaigns, click SHOW ARCHIVED.
To access the active Automation Campaigns when archived are displayed, click SHOW ACTIVE.
To Restore an Archived Automation Campaign
- Go to MARKETING AUTOMATION > AUTOMATION CAMPAIGNS.
- Click SHOW ARCHIVED.
- Click RESTORE in the Actions column next to the Automation Campaign to restore.
Notifications
If any errors are encountered on Archive, a red notification will appear indicating the issue and suggesting a resolution. Any issues in the Campaign must be resolved before the Campaign can be archived.
Click the x in the top right corner to close the notification.
