Edit a Template to make changes to any of the content. Changes to the Template will appear in future campaigns, but will not affect the content of campaigns that have already been deployed.
To edit a Template
- Go to CONTENT > VIEW TEMPLATES to view the list of templates.
- Click a Template to open it in the Edit Template page.
- Make your changes and then click UPDATE to save any changes. Click CANCEL to ignore changes and close the Template.
If you want to clear the Template content completely before editing, click CLEAR. This will delete the Subject Line and all content in the Plain Text, HTML, and Mobile tabs.
Advanced Options
The Advanced Options in the Template allow set options for sharing the Template, setting Character Encoding, as well as other options.
To edit the Advanced Options:
- Go to CONTENT > VIEW TEMPLATES to view the list of templates.
- Click a Template to open it in the Edit Template page.
- Click ADVANCED OPTIONS.
- Make your changes and then click OK.
- Click UPDATE to save any changes. Click CANCEL to ignore changes and close the Template.

Folder |
If you have defined Folders, you can sort your Template into a Folder by selecting it from the Folder listbox. |
Controls: Let child realms use this template |
Select to allow children of the current realm access to this template. Each child realm can use, but not edit, the template. |
Language: Contains multi-byte characters |
Select to allow UTF-8 character support in your Template. This allows formatting for characters outside of the basic set. |
Language: Charset |
If your Template requires an alternate character set, such as French, enter the character encoding designation. |
Language: Content Encoding |
Select a type of content encoding using Base-64 or Quoted Printable. |
Groups |
If you have defined Groups, you can select one or more options to define to which Group the Template belongs. |
