Scheduled Downtime




What is the change?

WhatCounts is making a major infrastructure change. The benefits of this change will allow the WhatCounts platform to have greater flexibility while adding improved redundancy.

What do I need to do?

Prepare for downtime as we implement the changes from 9 AM to 2 PM PDT (12 PM to 5 PM EDT) on Saturday, August 4th. After 2 PM PDT the platform will be brought back up and monitored.

The platform, including APIs, will be unavailable during this period. Preference sites will not function, but subscribe and unsubscribe forms connected to WhatCounts will accept data into a queue that will be processed once the platform is operational. Customized landing pages will not be available during the outage. Instead subscribers will be redirected to a page notifying them that their requests have been queued for processing.

Click-throughs in campaigns previously sent to your subscribers will continue to work, as will images hosted in our Media Manager.

Campaigns scheduled to deploy during the downtime will be sent after our maintenance is complete.
