|WHATCOUNTS INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS|
|What is the change?
WhatCounts is finalizing our major infrastructure changes. Once completed, this will allow the WhatCounts platform to have greater flexibility while adding improved redundancy.
When will it occur?
Based on customer feedback, we have moved up our maintenance window to better support your needs. Please prepare for downtime as we implement changes from 5 AM to 9 AM PDT (8 AM to 12 PMEDT) on Sunday, September 2. After 9 AM PDT (12 PM EDT) the platform will be brought back up and monitored.
What will be affected?
Campaigns scheduled to deploy during the downtime will be queued and sent after our maintenance is complete.
The platform, including APIs, will be unavailable during this period. Preference sites will not function, but subscribe and unsubscribe forms connected to WhatCounts will accept data into a queue that will be processed once the platform is operational. Customized landing pages will not be available during the outage. Instead subscribers will be redirected to a page notifying them that their requests have been queued for processing.
Click-throughs in campaigns previously sent to your subscribers will continue to work, as will images hosted in our Media Manager.
