Users with permissions of Editor, List Manager, Admin, and Private Label Admin have the option to view all tasks currently running in a Realm. These tasks include campaigns, reports, imports, exports, and some FTP processes.
Viewing Current Tasks
To view currently running tasks, go to TASKS > CURRENT TASKS to open the Current Tasks page.
The page shows all tasks or events currently processing. The Current Tasks page displays the Task ID, Realm Name, Task Name, Date/Time Started, Status, and Percent Complete, as well as columns to view more details about the Task Owner, or actions to Delete, Pause, or Resume certain tasks depending on permission level. You may sort the data in any of the columns by clicking the column header. The details displayed for each list include:
ID | Task ID number, a unique number to identify the task for processing |
Realm |
Name of the Realm in which the task is running. Users with permissions below Private Label Admin will only see the name for tasks running in their current realm. Realm will appear as: [other] for tasks not related to logged or related realms. |
Task |
Name of the Task often including the type of task, names of List, Template, or Report File Name. For example, "Running List" means a campaign is deploying and is followed by the List Name, Template, and Segmentation used to deploy the campaign. Users with permissions below Private Label Admin will only see the additional details for tasks running in their current realm. |
Started |
Date and time the task started. |
Status |
Current status: Running or Paused. |
% Complete |
Estimated percentage the task has completed. |
Owner |
Click the icon to display a small window with the email address of the User who created the task and options to Pause, Resume (Unpause), or Delete the task. Users with permissions below Admin do not have access to further details. |
Actions |
Click PAUSE to stop a task that is running. Click RESUME to start a paused task and pick up where it left off. Click DELETE to delete the task and cancel all remaining work. Deleting a campaign discards any prepared content for the remaining subscribers who have not yet been sent a message and updates the campaign statistics to the actual number of messages sent. Users with permissions below Admin do not have access to take action on a task. |
