Throttling: Spread of Messages

Question

If I enter a throttling value, will that hour's messages be spread out or all sent at the same time?

Answer

If a Campaign is throttled, the number of messages sent will be spread through the hour in 5 minute increments. For example, if your 'emails per hour' value is 600, 50 messages will be sent every five minutes until all messages have been sent.
