Importing Foreign Characters

Special characters are can be imported into a Contact's record and subsequently used to personalize Templates.  In order to do that, you will need to do the following:

1. Create a Custom Field in Unicode format
2. Make sure the file being using for the import is saved in UTF-8 format

It is not possible to import foreign characters into standard Contact fields like first name or last name.  Foreign characters can only be imported into unicode Custom Fields.
