Introduced a new Disable Open activity tracking feature flag to help marketers align with CNIL's guidance on email tracking practices.
When enabled, the platform excludes email tracking pixels in outgoing emails. This allows marketers to support privacy and adhere to regulatory requirements.

New Disable Open activity tracking feature flag available in Realm Settings. This feature is disabled by default.

Super User & Private Label Admin can enable or disable the feature at the account level.

When enabled, tracking pixel will be excluded during email delivery.

Reporting reflects open tracking activity only for emails where tracking is permitted.
Impact

Existing campaigns continue to function without modification.

Open-rate and related engagement metrics may change after enabling the feature, depending on your configuration.

Click tracking, delivery reporting, and other campaign metrics remain unaffected unless configured otherwise.
Recommended Action:
If you send marketing emails to recipients subject to France City from 15th July 2026, CNIL requirements, review your compliance policies and enable this feature as appropriate. Before enabling it in production, validate any workflows or automations that rely on email open events.
